In Her Orbit: Enter the SRNAVerse
Exploring astrology, creativity, and the world through Srna’s eyes

1. For those just stepping into your orbit, can you introduce us to you, Srna — and the world of SRNAVerse?
“Srnaverse began after a lengthy admiration of astrology. In my teen years, I had a tumblr.com that answered various astrological questions - such as which pairings go well together and who is the most sensitive sign.
Through my grandmothers and their observations, I learnt a lot. In 2018, I started my website ~ collaborated with amazing companies in beauty and wellness and have done over 150 natal charts for friends near and far. Two kids later, I’m finally finding my feet in this realm again, albeit with some new hobbies like interior design and pottery making thrown in the mix.”
2. Astrology gives us a map of what’s ahead — but life also asks for surrender. How do you personally balance reading the stars with living in trust?
“I like to think the two go hand in hand, belief + wonder. Astrology is an ancient art but also up for our own personal interpretation. I believe in the wider foundation it delivers, the mythology of it and the self examination it brings forward. I’m a really spiritual person, I believe in the universe - its power and beauty - even its terror. Astrology helps me pinpoint my next move depending on the transits I calculate and decipher.”
3. Looking at the skies right now, are there any themes or forecasts you feel called to share?
“Saturn (the father / boundaries / blockages - big breakthrough) has moved back into Pisces from the 1st of September, continuing its retrograde. In Pisces, we review if our hard work has manifested into our dream. Sometimes, Pisces believes it’s just going to fall from the sky and into their lap. Saturn says ~ no-no to that. We can’t just have the facade of it all. Not everything is fake it till you make it. Every time, we’ve got to do the heavy lifting in order to see results. Even if Saturn can offer a lucky streak to some. So, I think that’s a big one.
We’re also on the precipice of Eclipse season. The Pisces Lunar eclipse arrives in the early hours of the 8th September ~ extremely fated, very gripping - a true examination of our relationships and relationship to self. The Virgo partial Solar eclipse is on the 22nd of the month, swapping the energy from “us” to “them”. Virgo is very much about the Pisces deconstruction and vice versa, so expect to focus more on the direction of your work, education and long term beliefs towards the end of the month. Virgo is on a journey of many twists and turns throughout the next 3 months of 2025.
My advice, go lightly but be courageous!!”
4. We’ve noticed you’ve been deep in your reading list lately. What five books have evoked pleasure, presence, play, and purpose in your world right now — and why?
“I’m an avid reader, I’ll finish a new one every two weeks or so, which can be challenging with two small kids but I truly love it.
Recently, I have begun but not finished as it’s a mammoth one of knowledge: Reality Transurfing by Vadim Zeland. Truly a guidebook for anyone with spiritual inclinations.”
“I also loved and gorged - All Fours by Miranda July. {An irreverently sexy, tender, hilarious, and surprising novel about a woman upending her life.}
I started - Oliver Sacks Letters.
Oliver was a humanist and a deeply intelligent and eloquent writer. I’m astounded every time I read his concepts.
I’m obsessed with anything by Annie Ernaux. I just finished her book Shame but I have to say I love Simple Passions the most.
And my current read, that I can’t put down is Rytual by Chloe Elizabeth Wilson. I love reading Australian authors.”
Excerpt by Paige: I met Srna in Victoria, Australia many years ago, connected by our love for all things God, Spirit, Earth and Universe. And whilst our worlds have since woven through different locations, I distinctly recall sharing an honest and relaxing conversation with her in my very humble garden and home at the time, set in what was—in-fact—a rather raw side of town. What was memorable to me was the light and interest in her eyes when we spoke, matched by her calm, non-judgment. When I saw Srna passionately posting her monthly reads just yesterday, I thought you too, might enjoy meeting Srna, exploring her reads, and getting an introduction into the Srna Verse as well.
Enjoy the Srna Verse, I hope you feel inspired to read, to connect and to express.
