MONTH THREE - WORKING WITH ENERGY

In month three, we are learning all about energy, subtle energy, how everything begins first as energy. You can prepare to explore the different ways they can connect to this and begin experiencing your own energy in a more literal and connected sense. This will show benefits in your physical reality, your mental/emotional reality and your ethereal reality that stretches on beyond these things.

This month, this playlist invites you to move into a space that cannot be seen, it can only be felt.

Journal Prompts and exercises

  • Move your energy with intention and awareness, take time to scan the body for areas of wellness, tension, discomfort, joy, health and numbness

Where do you feel energy leaks in the body?

Where do you feel energy leaks in the aura?

Where do you feel energy leaks in your life?

    When do you feel energized?

When do you feel energy leaving you?

Can you invite the visualisations of what energises you into the moments of that which drains you?

What one practice you have learned, that you can introduce in those moments you feel triggered, or energy leakage?

  • What do you know about the energy bodies?

What do you feel within your own energy bodies?

  • What tools do you have to move energy?

When you get sick or feel off emotionally or physically, do you consider there might be an energy blockage?

If so, how do you address that? What do you feel drains your energy?

Do you have a set of practices to invite in when you feel your energy being negatively affected?

Do you have a set of techniques to welcome in when you are experiencing wonderful energy and want to invite that energy to be maintained or continue?

If you struggled to answer any of these, fear not, for this month is going to leave you with an abundance of answers.

Amavi monthly lesson:

  • Dan tien :

Traditional Chinese medicine is one of the most complexly mapped systems of energy to date. The ancient texts go back five thousands years and describes techniques to restore energy (chi (qi) still practiced today. According to TCM the lower dan then is what regulates or controls the overall energy or vitality of the body. The middle dan tien is responsible for the heart, thymus, throat and the emotional body. The upper dan is responsible for the head, brain and spiritual body. These energy centers are like wheels of energy within the body and effect the function of our body.

    The meridian system :

Surrounding the dan tiens is the meridian system, a series of linear energy channels throughout the body. The meridian system is techniques such as acupuncture and acupressure use among many other techniques as a map. There are 12 regular meridians and 20 meridians in total in TCM. Each regular meridian is believed to correspond to an organ and run along the body to either the hand or the foot

    The Chakra :

The chakra system was documented in India five thousand years ago. Chakra’s can be described as subtle energy centres located at the main branching’s of the nervous system in which energy flows through. Blocked energy in any or all of our seven chakras can often lead to illness, so it's important to understand what each chakra represents and what we can do to keep this energy flowing freely.

    The Aura :

Descriptions of the aura also originates from Hindu tradition where the aura is described as the aspect of our body that radiates out from physical body and is in constant communication with everything around it. The human aura is a field of subtle, luminous radiation surrounding us and extending outward from our physical form. Auras are related to the electromagnetic field of the body and serve as a visual measure of our mental, emotional, physical and spiritual states.

Everything that we do or think effects the aura, so it is usually in a state of flux, every changing, based on our mental meanderings and physical health. The aura is also affected by the energies of the environment, the forcefields and physical health. The aura is also affected by the energies of the environment, the forcefields of the planet and the radio frequencies that interpenetrate all forms of matter. The aura is an electronic signature of who we are.

    The matrix :

Shamanic and aboriginal traditions describe a matrix of energy that is like a grid within the body. This matrix is similar to the Chinese Meridien system, yet is deeper in the body and is a three-dimensional web of energy made up of very fine filaments of energy.
