Nourish in November

This November, our theme is all about preparing your body and mind for the holiday season with intelligence and adaptability. We will truly replenish all systems of the body from the root up. You’ll learn how to navigate and embrace the inevitable stressors of the season and even an out of control schedule, lifestyle, or change in diet without compromising and sacrificing your health or wellbeing.

We'll explore how to fortify your stomach lining to handle the influx of holiday foods or drinks, how to optimise your awareness of the body so that you can counter any imbalances, and increase your emotional regulation as well. Most importantly I will provide you with one simple actionable technique each week to integrate into your busiest schedule so that you can be moving the needle in the direction of well-being wherever you go, what-ever you experience.

    • Take note of and write a list of how you feel in your mind and body and write a list of things that dont feel so good, this is important so that we can see a shift at the end of the month.

      This month, do this by

      - Tidy your spaces
      - Clear out your wardrobe
      - Write lists of the ways you would like to spend your time.

Week One.

The Body. build a short/achievable morning habit. This week with the stomach massage every morning right upon waking.

Week Two.

The Mind. Time to add in a layer, begin with a meditation or EFT Tap right upon waking.

Week Three.

The Body. Try this deeply nourishing Qi gong sequence to replenish energy levels from the very core of your energy systems.

Week Four.

Body 5 days of the Yoga Nidra practice works to build the energy reserves from the very bottom up. It works in taking you into a deeply restorative state, activates switching the body off each and every day in the middle of the day or afternoon, so that you can recharge. It is very important to offer these micro moments of deep recharge for the body away from sleep, because the more relaxed out body is through the day, the less recovery work it will have to do as we sleep.

Recipes of the month

    • 6.30 am - Hydrogen water

      Please drink this mindfully with an elongated posture, aware of the enhancing affect on your cells.

    • 8.30-9.30 am - Two boiled eggs salt, pepper with organic butter, or scrambled eggs or poached with olive oil, chilli, a slice of gluten free toast

    • Please eat after stomach massage, movement and meditation

    • You can have organic orange juice with tumeric and ginger or a decaffe cappuccino - coconut milk, or housemate organic macadamia - you can add medicinal mushrooms, prebiotic protein collagen, blue spirulinia

Breakfast

    • Wild organic greens
      Pumpkin seeds
      Black sesame seeds
      Option for lentils soaked and cooked
      Olive oil or flaxseed oil
      Goats cheese
      Radicchio
      Fennel
      Lemon

      - Options or alternatives to lentils
      - Chicken
      - Thinly sliced beef (chew mindfully to digest well)

    • You can also have this meal on a big oven cooked or steamed purple potato

Lunch

    • Quinoa cooked in broth

    • Wild caught salmon or protein of choice

    • Micro greens, broccoli, broccolini cooked in garlic or cooked kale

    • Steamed carrots

    • Roasted Turnip

    • Roasted tarot

    • Salt + Pepper

    • Option to have a bowl of soup or broth too.

Dinner
